Show canceled in Atlanta
ATLANTA – dmg world media has announced the cancellation of the Atlanta International Antiques Show. The show had been scheduled for Oct. 6-8 at the Cobb Galleria in Atlanta. dmg world media made the decision to cancel after determining that a soft market and lack of dealer support would not sustain the show.

“This was a very tough decision. We had developed strong cultural and media support in Atlanta and we know it would have been a great show,” said Richard Lewis, Senior Vice President of dmg world media Arts & Antiques North America, “but with high gas prices and soft market conditions affecting the dealers’ support, it just didn’t make sense to force it.”

dmg world media maintains that Atlanta is a viable market to support an upscale antique show of this nature and expects to explore plans for another Atlanta show at a later date. Other existing dmg world media shows will be unaffected by this change.

Exhibitors who had been scheduled to participate in the show will receive full refunds on their deposits or booth rent over the coming weeks.
